What is the best way to weight a 05 VLX for surfing.I ride the port side. Thanks in advance.
I have full MLS including the bow tank.

Well where it went wrong was buying a Malibu in the first place. To fix the problem buy a MB B52 V3. SWEEEEET! No all you have to do is rip it up.

My buddy has a 05 MB B52 V23. It is awsome for surfing! I know what you mean..

I've seen some posts with VLX wakes, they looked good to me.

I've never ridden a VLX. Start with putting your weight in the rear and as close to the surf side gunnels as possible. At first don't put a surfer in the water - but first move your people ballast around from front to back until you see what might be good. Once you think you have a good wake put a rider out there.

Start with 9.5 to 10 mph, and don't listen to boneheads.
