We've got a Frequently Asked Questions page (http://www.wakeworld.com/faq/) that is woefully out of date and missing several key questions, such as, "What is wakeboarding?"

I think this document could be very useful for reducing the number of repeated basic questions on the discussion board as well as general education of WakeWorld readers.

I'd like to get your help with two things. First, what questions do you think should be included in this document?

Second, How would you define wakeboarding? I've always described it as snowboarding behind a boat because of the similar equipment and stance.

Thanks much for your help!

I like the "How do I get sponsored?" questions.

Questions to include:
-How do I choose a board and a pair of bindings?
-How do I get my kids started?
-what rope/handle is the best?

Since I've been asked a few times if my wakeboard is a snowboard, I tell the curious minds that it's similar to snowboardinb but you're behind a boat. I like Luke's answer better

You can include a basic list of definitions ex)
rocker
molded fins
Spectra
edging
heelside
toeside
pop
double up
wake (you'd be surprised how many people have trouble with this one)

just other basic terminology people new to the sport could use familiarizing with.

Definetly something on the what board and bindings like Lynsey said

"Will a tower make my jumps bigger?"
"What speed do I ride at?"
What rope length should I use?"
