KCW is such a fun place.

Not a lot of activity yet, but I want to let you guys know that you have your own forums and events calenders at www.midwestwakeboarder.com

Join up and help start the community in those states, make it your own, and if you have any ideas on how I can help with it drop me a line.

I used to live in St. Charles, now live in Wisconsin/Nebraska for other reasons. I'll be in Columbia, MO working starting next week til mid August.

Look for anyone that can help hook me up with pulls! I've got a thread up in the Find a Third/Be a Third section!

I also have to say go to www.midwestwakeboarder.com and get the community in Missouri/Kansas started!

Hey everyone- PLEASE try to support by participating in the INT event on June 9th at Dow, IL. This is a private lake with a very cool atmosphere. They are trying to get the INT back running in our area so please try and help them by coming out and riding in this event. We need to give them as much support to get these events going in our area.

If they are trying to get INT going in our area, why do they have the event in Illinois? Is that the closest private lake?

Stockton Lake was empty this weekend. Boy am I glad they were calling for rain all weekend. It was cloudy, but only rained for a few minutes here & there. Then the water was like butter in quite a few areas all day long.

Hello everyone - My name is Don, and I'm new to this discussion board. I work for Classic Marine in Wentzville, MO which is the new Centurion dealership. I can't do all that many tricks, but I love to wakeboard and would like to get a chance to ride with all the riders in the area. I was at Mark Twain this weekend, but am going to try to get out to all the lakes within a three or four hour driving radius this summer. I'll try to let everyone know where I'll be each weekend, so if you see me out please wave me down (I'll probably be in our black and metallic green ENZO 230).

Was out riding yesterday on Lake St. Louis behind the x1.
Threw a big shifty with an indy grab and when I landed I noticed the WAKEBOARD STL boat sitting on my heals.

Thanks Guys-

Randy,

I'm confused. I thought the wakeboardstl boat was an 06 X2. The X2 is NOT allowed on LSL.

Which X1 were you on?

Thanks Tim. We haven't been out there this year, I live at Holiday Shores in Edwardsville, which is where we do most of our riding. We may have to start riding elsewhere because it is getting too crowded.

The boat on LSL appears to be an Old TIGE with Wakeboard STL on the side of it. Yes, unfortunately, the newer X2 models are banned from LSL waters.

I am usually ridding the Dri Port Promo X1 ( it has the black haul).

Going to be holding some clinics on it this month. You should come check it out during one.

Used to be from the KS area, first Holton, then Manhattan, and finally Olathe before moving east to St. Louis. Miss the good wake community in the KC area. Lots of cool people out that way.

Kelley, how's Salina? ha

Jamie, how's things around the shop?

Beach, I'm ready for another Rock trip, SOON

When I pick up a boat here in the near future, I plan to hit the Kaskaskia. It's about 20 minutes from work to the ramp at New Athens for me. I was down there for the first time last week and it looked like butter. Now I just need to decide on a boat.

Nick you are welcome anytime pal! I was out last night with "D" and it was of course BUTTER!!! Its about time to change the oil again we are up to 72 hours! haha!

Someone was out test driving that blue/purple and black Wakesetter the other night! That thing looked sick on the water!

Kelley - Good to hear from ya! Are you at KState Salina?

Beach, of course it looked sick on the water. It's a Malibu!!! :-) Yes, I am at KSU-Salina. It's good, but it's Salina. SO it's self explanitory. Mosier is actually my fight instructor, which kicks ass. Tell D I say HI!

Nick, It's Salina, need I say more? haha

Other than that, I have been riding two times this summer, and it's HORRIBLE. I am hoping to go ride with Dylan V sometime this summer out in McPherson, but we shall see.

hyperlite 1622-

I ride occasionally on the River on the weekends. LSL usually is horrible during then, so we take the boat to the quiver slue.

STL here. I ride at Terre Du Lac which is about an hour south. I don't really know many riders around here and there's only one other rider down there so if anyone needs a third, I'm down.
Old     (silverwake)      Join Date: May 2007       06-06-2007, 4:31 AM Reply
Anyone have an opinion on what the best lake on the IL side is to wakeboard on? I'm thinking about a two hour's radius drive from downtown STL. And I guess for that matter, on both sides of the river.
Nick - are you going to be able to make it to Dow for the INT tournament?

No havent been out there yet this year. Actually have the boat hooked up now to go over to the slough- just waiting for some drissel to stop.

Rode behind the new Supra V-drive and Malibu V-drives that are approved for LSL. Water sucked but still was able to pull a couple of inverts out on each.
