Has anyone else received their '07 registration in California? In my packet was a pamphlet on Carbon Monoxide and in it, it "seems" to refer to teak surfing with a new phrase: "bodysurfing" (also spelled as "body surfing" in the same paragraph).

Also, there are two stickers that "California law requires" the owner to attach to the vessel. One on the transom and one that "is immediatly visible to the vessel operator". They are about 2 inches high by 4 inches long. The stickers warn of the dangers of CO poisoning, signs of CO poisoning and a directive to get fresh air if there are any symptoms.

I haven't read the law, but presume it is a required retro-application for all boats registered in CA. Has anyone read the law and know if it is, in fact, required on all vessels in CA. Also, anyone have any opinions on this requirement, if it truly is one?
