I have some minor damage on my prop. It still works, but I would like to get it reworked. Should I go to the dealer or directly to Acme? Can anyone recommend a shop in So Cali? Anyone know how long the turn around is? How many of you are carring a extra prop and kit on the boat and how easy would it be to do a change out on shore? I dont plan on doing this, but you never know when water level is low.
On long weekends I always bring my spare and change out kit. It's a piece of cake on the trailer. I send mine to a place in Redding, Ca. Phil's Propellors, don't know who in SoCal.
Hey chris - have you ever tried bronson propeller? If so, I wanted to see how they compare to AAA. Bronson has repaired a couple props for me but were a little pricey.
