I'm working on getting a good wake behind my sv211 and would love any advice someone's got. I hear most weight the 211 way too heavy causing a short sweet spot and wash out on the port side. I think this is what I've been doing.

So, I hear it's better to spread weight down the port side, including a little in the port bow, so it rolls instead of just sinking the rear.

I may try (this is total weight - I don't have stock ballasts): 400 in center belly, 400 in port rear, 300 under passenger seat.

I was doing 1500 in rear, 400 under passenger, 300 port bow, 350 in belly. But I've heard since the 211 has a narrow beam, lighter is better??

Any thoughts?

1500 in the rear is this both sides? I'm close to your combination. But I only have about 800 on one side rear and 400 other side rear. I would start letting water out on one side rear until you get what you want.

That was 1500 just in the port side. So you wouldn't completely the opposite side. That would be consistent with the thinking that I've been sinking the port side too much for a 211 hull.
