surfing which side

i have a 2006 mastercraft x-1 and i wanna surf on the side i am supposed to be on which is it starboard or port.

That is entirely up to you. There is no correct side, which means there is no goofy/regular side. That's just goofy in itself. You either ride frontside or backside on either the port or starboard side. I prefer riding backside starboard, which means I'm regular. But I work on riding them all.

The X1 will throw a much better Port Side wake.

A little trick...

Preplan with someone to come up behind you, when you don't expect it. and have them push you forward.

Notice which foot goes forward first. If it's left you are regular. If it's right you are goofy.

Do you slalom ski? which foot is forward?
