speed?

sorry if this has been answered already. i board at around 22mph i think (unless my speedo is off). i went to wakestock, and my friend thought he heard them say they were going around 30mph. I always thought you wanted like 20-25mph depending on the rider/boat/wake. Do any of you board at around 30? Do the pros actually board around 30?

there was an article in WBM about riding 30 mph and 80 feet back...anyone recall who this was?

Its according to how much you weigh and how much mainline you have. The more mainline the more speed. I weigh about 230 and with 85 feet of line I like 26-27 mph

are there pros out there doing all the crazy tricks at like 22mph? or is that pretty low? i also have two lengths off of my rope.

I remembered reading an article about Randall Harris and how he likes to ride really far back. If i remembered correctly, he rides at about 87ft and at about 27-28mph. Also, there's an article on this site that has an interview with Andrew Adkinson and they ask him about his rope left and speed and i think he said its about 85ft at 24-25mph.
