11.8 gallons per hour?!?!? That's a lot of gas. I am assuming that is combined (5.9gph) per engine?

MF! That's like double what my '05 VLX burns, with ballast filled. Holy gas bill!

Actually those type boats look fun as hell to cruise around in, but they are all trying to jump on the wakeboarding bandwagon, which is a joke.

Have you seen how expensive some of these mini jet boats can be?

We might want to keep an open mind? As much as I dislike jets in general it may only be a matter of time before they come up with some that actually works?

It would be interesting to hear from somebody that has actually been out in the boat and experienced the operation of a perfect pass on the jet propulsion system.

Back in my drag boat racing days we all made fun of the jet boats until they started beating us and taking the trophies...

Thats because its 215hp per engine. PP has been working to develop a system for Seadoo boats for awhile now but have only come up with someting for the rotax motors, they still don't have anything for the Merc's
