Squid is right I rode his board and knew I had to have those fins, the price is hard to swallow but totally worth it...

CMS, Slayshtank. any good surf shop on the coast has them. you want the v2-f4 version. they come as a thruster set and they run about 95-100 bucks...

+1 I got them for my TWP Bomb Pop after riding Squid's Sex Panther and they make a huge difference!

I have the Black Stix in my Fangtail as well. I wouldn't say they are a huge difference but they do make a difference. Have fun on that board!

You Twinzer guys should be trying the Future 3 2 1s instead of the f4 blacksticks ..... cheaper also!!

All of the carbon fiber fins from Futures are gunna be around 90$... They do have some composite fins with the v2 foil in them (like the 3 2 1s) that are less expensive... Any of the futures fins with a V2 foil are sweet IMO... If you guys are looking for some extra speed (lift) the Futures Solus fins are very fast... The offer almost as much lift as the Scimitar fins but they are a bit looser for spinning and such. I prefer the BlackStixx AM1 over the F4... little less hold. If you are looking for even more hold from your fins the Machados work well in a twinzer setup also. After riding all of them, the Solus are my favorite so far... fast but still moderately loose.

I felt like the TWP boards were sliding a bit when pumping... I never got a chance to try the Machado fins in one of those boards but I think the extra surface area would help.

That fangtail looks SWEEEET!!!!
I cant WAIT for mine

just my 2 pennies.

Piper,
did you try my Machados? RJ had them in the Z3 at the PB..I found them a little slower and looser then the black stix. I come from ocean surfing so I like hold...a lot of hold and the black stick store speed in the bottom turns rather then slowing like the 321s.

Fins are like tires on a race car or a dirt bike. What works for me may not work for you. As you all can see Piper likes what he has because he has tested and played with different fins and I can't express how much fun it is.

Hey Allen,
I didn't try your Machado fins when we were in Cali... I have my own stash of fins

Piper,

AWESOME, if you run into any new fins that you dig let me know. The fall swell is coming to Cal and so will I. Shred hard and don't be a Barney...
