So as this season ended I really wanted to dump my '88 ski supreme and sell my '97 F150. I was able to sell both and I replaced them with a '97 suburban and a '95 sanger DLX. The suburban has 35k original miles and is a fully loaded 3/4 ton with a 1 ton running gear with the 6" lift, plus some other offroad goodies :-) The sanger has 240 original hours and looks as good as new. I'm taking them both out next Sunday! If only the heat wasn't going away :-(Upload

Welcome to the Sanger family! And going from a Ford to a GM is a step in the right direction too. Although a Dodge Cummins would be better.

Just drop a twin turbo Banks Duramax in and you're set!

I've been a Ford man most of my life and they have never let me down. With the low miles I hope there are no issues What really made me want the suburban was seeing the boat bun thread! I could only pack so many in with my ford extended cab and now I have up to 3rd row seating! I also made a turbocharger kit for my Mustang and I'm tempted to make one for the suburban... We'll see how my projects go this winter

Where did you find the truck with that low of mileage? Also, want to post or PM how much you paid for that truck? I'm looking at picking up something older (late 90s early 00s) but reliable as a tow vehicle.

A family friend special ordered the truck brand new back in '97. It pretty much sat except for trips to Tahoe or to the lake. When I found out he wanted to sell i jumped all over it.. I paid 15,500 for it.
