Hey I need to replace my Jabsco ballast puppy, and I remember someone posted a link to a different pump that was exactly the same, but from a different company.

I can't afford to pay that much for a new Jabsco.
Any help??

Thanks

The simer BW85P is similar but not ignition protected.

Correct, so the safety-conscious question is whether the pump will be anywhere in the engine compartment where it may be exposed to gas fumes (I have my Simers in a box in the back of the boat that holds the rear ballast bag, not in the engine compartment).

hmmmm.... Im pretty sure Im ok to use non-igintion protected pumps because my boat has a diesel engine... not sure though. Ill check up on it.
Thanks
