Its been 75 to 80 here last week I almost got the boat out, but figured as soon as I did, it would freeze again. Sure enough we are suppose to get 10 inches of snow tomorrow and Sat. Its a real bummer, but at least I can get the snowmobile out!

Dan Dulong ---- Again, ENOUGH!!!!!!!!! If you open up a thread stay with the issue of the thread. DO NOT change the threads issue and sell your product. It's not enjoyable to read these threads anymore. Every time you write in it's "BUY A WAKECAFT".

I am sorry if other members on WW are upset about me for complaining but I am very tired of DAN DULONG

This is last Saturday (3/21) on Lake Sammamish (near Seattle.) We are sick of winter... time to ride. (and the air temp was actually 52-55 that day.) (and before you comment on the wetsuit/drysuit.. or what ever it was... he got it on craigslist for a few bucks the day before.. so worth it... plus everyone on the lake could see him:-)

Ice pick in hand. I will find water. People say there is part of a river below a power plant that does not freeze. I am worried that a piece of ice will be floating in my path. Anyone ever run into an iceberg, outside of the titanic that is? Cool pics. Keep them coming.

I can not believe I missed it. Rob I am so sorry for giving a geothermoclibrator for the purchase of an 09 as a pure marketing stunt. Art must be devastated. Art I will rip up the check when it gets here. Rob if you buy today I will throw in some of my son's unused pacifiers. Put up a picture or go away, thanks.

Hey its Don, I am not going to be able to make it to Berryessa tomorrow. I have a sick kid and my wife is out of town. Sorry. We will be going the following weekend on the 4-4-09. I am taking my son(david) a friend of his from school and my nephew. Maybe you can make it then. Sorry again. Hope to hook up with you in the near future. Don C.

You're right Art, 117 does sound hot, ...but when you couple it with -15% humidity, it's really not that bad .
Besides, in August, the water can be a cool 90!

Surfing? LAKE Michigan? Isnt that a bit far from a ocean to have waves. Those lakes must be big to get swells like that. }

The Great Lakes are treated by the Coast Guard as "coastal waters." The same safety rules apply on the Great Lakes as the oceans (i.e. flares required, etc.)

Sometimes Michigan is glass. Sometimes the waves are larger than today. Storms or winds can whip up the lake in a hurry.

Here are a couple of summer photos of our boat on Superior when it was glass...

I don't have pics but we got out on Sunday West of Milwaukee. Air was almost 50, water was about 38.
It wasn't terrible, but felt so great to get out and ride!

By the time I got in the boat, my hands hurt, not the usual cold pins and needles, but like somebody smashed my fingers with a hammer. But...it was awesome to get out and ride. The lake should do nothing but get warmer now, not sure about that air though :-(
