every time i go to jump off the wake as soon as im in the air i let go with my back hand (left hand, im a goofy). does anyone have any tips to teach myself out of this habbit, if so it would be greatly appreaiated

You're probably not keeping the handle in tight with both hands as you leave the wake. Keeping the handle in closer to your body allows you to pull in or let out the handle while in the air to adjust yourself. If you leave the wake with your arms straight, and then need to let the handle out, the only way to do this is by letting go with you back hand and letting it out one-handed.

I suggest you concentrate on keeping that handle in closer to your body and see if this helps you. Good luck!
