I know this doesn't have anything to do with audio video or photography but its the closest forum to it...my computer screwed up the other day and the only way to fix it was to restore it, but i had tons of things on there that i could not lose, pictures, videos, music etc...so i had Best Buy make a ghost copy of my hard drive for me onto dvd's...so i have now restored my computer, and everything comes up from the dvd's that was on my hard drive, except every one of the files are .NCO files, i.e.(wake.wmv.nco) and i can't convert them or save them onto my new hard drive...i dont know maybe im doing something wrong, if anyone knows how i can open these files and save them please help me.

Sounds like Best Buy used Nero to backup your files. Your best bet is to call them up and ask them how to restore the files.

When you restore your computer it only restores the SETTINGS to an earlier date. Check your files(Pictures, video music) They're still there.
