Last weekend the INT Western Regional's were held at Villa Lagos. Chuck and Linda Payton the coordinators for NorCal took it upon themselves to host an event with folks riding from five different states due to the INT National's being canceled in this poor economy. The event went perfect near as I could tell and it was fun hearing other people's comments on it being one of the best events they have ever been to; I just tell them it is always this way with NorCal INT, just a bit bigger and more riders. There are a lot of people helping to make an event like this go off without a hitch and all are appreciated in their efforts, especially Chuck and Linda for committing in these tough times........ I saw lots of cameras so lets see some pics.
It was a very good weekend with some outstanding riding and alot of great people coming from all over the Western States. I can't wait until next year for the US Championships to be back stronger than ever. I want to thank all the sponsors, State Coordinators and volunteers that helped make it all happen. Yes, I want to see some pics also.
I heard the weekend was an immense amount of fun. The off water activity as much as the on water. Wish I could have been there. Thanks to Chuck and Linda, the other coordinators and all the volunteers for all the hard work. I'll just enjoy the pictures.
Me, my boy and the Korum boys road tripped it down for the event towing his X-star. Took a bunch of pics on a couple of cameras but they are mostly of me and my crew riding. I didn't ride at the event but we had an epic day at Shasta Thursday and another at Black Butte lake(thanks for the heads up on that) on Friday evening. Couldn't have got better conditions for those rides. The event was cool even as a spectator. Chuck and his Norcal crew ran a great event. Hopefully next year I'll be back to keep my buddy Korum honest in the masters class(Hillbilly-we will be looking for an invert or 3 from you). I'll try and gets some pics up this week............
Looks like everybody had a great time. Chuck and Linda Payton have really brought alot of credibilty to the wakeboarding side of INT!! I sooo want to make it out to one of your events!! some day for sure!! Nice to see the Oly crew representing!!
Man... I lived in Red Bluff for like, 7 years... if only I had known a place like this would exist so close I might have never left! Looks like a killer event!
Good times for sure. Killer to meet new people and spend time will all. Chuck, Linda and all people who helped to keep it running smooth thanks for keeping the stoke alive.
