I fell off one like two weeks ago and knocked myself out.

I fixed my back on a trampoline in high school. Hurt my back in a football game, two weeks later jumped on a trampoline landed on my back and magically it was fixed. Haven't had any problems since.. Knock on wood. They are dangerous but super good training tools as well.

I was working on a whirly bird once, found out that it was not that hard to land one so I tried a whirly 5 and woke up on the ground with a brick imprint on my face from my house .

When I first got my trampoline I landed chest down on the ring of the frame and got the wind knocked out of me. Now that I have learned to wait until I you're in the air before starting to flip or spin, I have never gotten hurt again. I think using an old wakeboard rope/handle helps too. If you get off balance you can pull on it to right yourself.
