Thanks TxSurf...I just switched OS's from XP to Vista and I am NOT a happy camper! The water today was crazy busy, so we'd like to get a few more water days. The board is light and strong and the "reflex frequency" is FAST. James likes the board, we'll give it a few more rides before finalizing a conclusion.

I am still struggling with this new OS, but I did manage to post one video of James on the Stretch.

I think that I am understanding the photo resizer better this morning. :-) I'm keeping my fingers crossed (that's the technical process used by IT experts, so I understand :-) ) that it worked.

Thanks Robbie! Did you get a frame grab from that YouTube video? How did you do that? I couldn't find anything that would open the .MOV files for editing. Thanks!

I said it may be the biggest that i've seen :-)

And yes, agreed Chase and James boost very high..hard to compare who gets higher for certain, they are both hard to keep in the camera frame!

Do you ever go to santa cruz rob,,you can see like ten year old kids doing 360 airs up side down so high it looks like a video game, but it doesnt matter anyways who gets higher both chase and james boast. I just personal didnt think that was the biggest air ive seen landed, everyone has there own opinion .

The board that Stretch made for us is pretty amazing construction. It's as light as any of the contest grade EPS/Epoxy boards we've purchased that last 1/2 a season. This construction, though, very rugged. It doesn't pressure dent or ding. Think of a super light Inland Surfer 1/2 the weight (without the gloss :-) ).

I think what I'm most impressed with is that Stretch builds in any number of construction methods. There are only...maybe three shops in the nation that can even build a board using the construction technique. You can't walk into "Joe's" Surfboards and selection between EPS Epoxy or Sandwich.

I'm not impressed with the graphics, but the quality on the build is amazing. The folks built three boards to insure that the guys making them got it 100%, so QC is through the roof.

Stretch does a great job, I think easily the most advanced shop in this area.

yeah he is on it, and a super nice guy,how d you like the cigars did you sit back and puff one with him.looks like that board works good for james,I love his boards there so fast ,and turn super sharp, the pop is insane.I ride his boards in the ocean to, and have had some of my best sessions on his boards.

Hey Robert:

Are you guys usually on the north fork. We usually surf on the way from bidwell to lime saddle since it is pretty wide there and not much traffic. We were in the middle fork last weekend and pretty much had it to ourselves. I'll have to look for you next time I'm out. Im in a green VLX.

So Dennis (Master Weighter) came out on our boat yesterday. Last week we were entertaining family and this week it is ALL about practice. Dennis is kind of like our remote coach especially for RJ, and him coming to visit was very welcome. First, her is a pic of dennis riding the long wood with Jesse, she had a great time. These are all stills from video, so not the best.

FILE0066

And these of RJ on today's practice session. He is working on his grabs and stall 360. He landed 4 of his 7 stall attempts, and is doing much better with height and consistency on his airs. Still NO WHERE NEAR what I have seen the likes of James and Chase do, but he is progressing. Not the best angle, but you get the idea.
