Time to head east. We've hit 90 a few times in Spokane. And central WA is in the 90s all the time these days.

I don't think Seattle is even going to see 80 this week. Mornings are still cool and cloudy. Very lame summer.

Last week I saw 92 on my water temp gauge on the lake. Funny though, my buddy said "I know this temp gauge isn't right" when the lake was at 91 and we both had the same readings on two different boats

Before all the water in Texas evaporated I saw 95 water temp in a shallow cove at Texoma. That cove is now sand.

Way too effin hot here in the Ft. Worth, TX area. Haven't been to the lake in 3 weeks its so damn miserable.

Thing I'm starting to worry about are those deadly amoebas growing in this bathwater that's anywhere from 88-93 degrees!

I'm in Dallas and we are going to break a 31 year record of straight days over 100 degrees. We will hit 43 for the record and then some. MISERABLE summer for sure. You can't go outside to do much of anything without feeling terrible and covered in sweat.

The bay we ride on has been declared toxic. They say don't let your dog off leash if it drinks it it will die.Soo you can imagine how much we want to get in there.Good thing we have a lake 90 miles away we board on for vacation every year.It has been declared one of the cleanest lakes in the world.Level is maintained by a dam all summer.in the Adirondack Mts

Our lake is 65 on the top inch at about 2pm. Air temps in the 80's if we are lucky. Good old Central Oregon and High Cascade Mountain lakes. Took our snowmobiles out 2 days ago. Pretty bad that we can still ride them in Aug.

You're not lying man...I don't even want to go out on the lake because it's so miserable. Hell, the last time we went out, I actually got heat exhaustion and was sicker than a dog.

My non-boat owning friends rent out a massive party barge (not the one with the slide though) every year for a big get-together. And guess what? It's this coming weekend at Lake Lewisville, and I am beyond dreading going. Hell, I'm thinking about paying my part that I agreed to just to not go.

we had 120 heat index at midnight up here in the upper midwest this summer.

Oh, and we get - 40 below wind chills in the winter.

How can anyone beat that 160 degree spread?

High of 102 here in Katy, TX today. Heat index is 110. Sunday the water was 94 degrees on the river. It was hot but not unbearable by any means. Just feels like summer to me.

Bill,

I might be able to get you a sand temp, but that's the closest thing I've got to water here! Can't wait to get on the warm water this winter...nothing like riding in 35 degree water.

Here in North Central Fl it's been 95+ with the heat indices of up 109 or better, and with the humidity it's like breathin thru a wet rag. after 10am it's blazin hot all the way thru 4:00pm and even sometimes well after the sun has set. one mornin' I thought I was trippin' when I passed a digital therm. and it read 80 degrees @ 5:45 in the Morning! this' gotta be some kinda record somehow. plus if u've got brackish water, it's boilin' hot! I feel like my brain's been hard boiled by the time we make it back to the dock.

KR, my brother lives, works in North Dakota, over 100 in the Summer and -100 wind chill in the winter, do not know a worse place to live, although I never have been there. Anyone have a worse place to live?

This is how hot it is. When I see 90 degrees I think that is cool. The local lake is hovering around 90 degrees and is steadily dropping each day almost down 4 feet. By the way Im in Dallas Texas
