LF Press vs slingshot response

I was wondering if anyone has ridden both of these boards and could give their thoughts on the difference between the two.

I have ridden the slingshot recoil and I was actually surprised by how much I like the flex, but I thought the recoil was a little slow for my liking and I have heard that both these boards are faster.

I cannot comment on the Press but I own the recoil and the response. I haven't had the change to ride the response a lot but it is only marginally faster then the response.

It is not super fast when you initiate your progressive edge, it pretty similar to the recoil. The speed is felt when you land in the flats, it will coast farther then the recoil. It nowhere near the HL 3DS in there of speed.
