I admit, I completely stole this thread from over at the Tige Board... I loved reading about peoples journeys to their current boat, and I love other peoples pics. I'll Start... Our first boat was a 96? StarCraft 1710 In/Out Drive open bow. I LOVED that boat, for a first boat. We had so much fun on that thing, ruined about 4 props learning how to drive. I remember the time we got caught out on Winnipesaukee in a hurricane! 8 people in the boat, and we had a 50 minute run from Meredith to Alton Bay. Took on so much water that my GMC 1 ton wouldn't pull the boat up the ramp until I pulled the plug and let the water out. True story. Wish I had some pics of that in a digital format.. Anyway, the next boat was a 98 Tige pre2002. Another great boat (for slalom) Not so great wakeboard boat, but tons of fun. Here it is.. And now the new boat, a 2005 Tige 22i...

Aaron the boat is in the water now, which is where it will likely stay 'til the Fall. I don't trailer my boat very often, it stays in my slip most of the year. Sorry, I am dying to see it hooked up too!!

1st Boat 05 Seadoo Sportster 4Tec - Didn't know a thing about wakeboarding, my wife and I just wanted to get a boat to play around on the lake. Was a blast to drive and be a walley. Then I made the fatal mistake of buying a wakeboard. 2nd Boat - 05 Mobius LS - Really wanted a V-Drive but didnt have the dinero, so we got the DD. Had all the wake I needed, but we still coveted the V-Drives. 3rd Boat - 06 Supra 21v - My wife and I both got a huge raises, and to celebrate, we go a new boat with no hump in the middle. I love my 21v All the Boats in one place - Just so happened that my old Seadoo that was purchased by another couple had it in for service the day I was trading my DD in for the 21v. Crazy... First, 82 stingray (this is not our actual boat but looks alot like it): Then that boat broke randomly in the middle of the lake so we got a 96 Larson: Then, like alot of you guys said, me made the fatal mistake of buying a wakeboard. So we bought an 03 X2 We love our boat and the wake, but the boat is a little small for the amount of people that we normally bring. So, in the future, we might hopefully get:

Eric, Sea Ray is...name escapes me...the lake just into Indiana??? X10/205v are both Norris Lake. 205V wake for wakeboarding is great! Slalom, I am told, is 'nice' by recreational slalom-ers on both X10 and 205v. I personally wouldn't know, but I have a bad picture (205V). PM me if you want more info. Don't want to hijack the thread. (Message edited by P-hat in Cincy on May 28, 2007)

I started off as a kid in a 68 Chetta jet. For a little bit I had a 78 Cole TRII (454 90 over, full roller motor, 700+ hp and 128 MPH in the 1/4 mile) then I bought a 96 Sanger DXII, then in 04 a Sanger V215, and in 07 a Supra 22SSV. 04 Sanger V215: 07 Supra 22SSV:

First boat was a 95 Maxum Eddie Baur Edition. Owned it four five happy years until I started wakeboarding. Second boat was a 2000 Mob-V. I absolutely loved the boat the five years I owned it. After 700hrs I decided it was time to let her go. Found my current boat (2000 SAN) with under two hundred hours on it, and in pristine condition. I've added PP, heater, belly ballast, and a new sound system. I don't see myself needing anything more than this for quite some time.

OK... I'll play. Had a '81 Seaswirl venture that my dad bought new, then turned over to my brother and I when the floor rotted. We re-built it, built an extended pylon and put a bumpin system in it before most people had radios in their boats. Too many good times behind and with that boat to list. Looking back my parents sure were trusting people letting their 16 and 18 year old sons take their boat and car to the lake by themselves. My wife and I even had our first "hook-up" on that boat when I was 16. If only I knew where that'd lead.... '02 Sanger DLX wake. The most affordable wake boat I could find. 400 lbs of ballast and that Sanger build quality. 500 hours in 2 years. I loved that boat. '05 Master Craft X2. What else needs to be said. An absolute wake cranking machine. Sick in every way, but a bit small. I sold it in exchange for it's big brother. '07 X-star. The "Bonecrusher". The wake is amazing. The size is great.

First boat was a 1969 Hallett Bubbledeck 19' jet with a 460 Ford. Super quick, leaked gas & oil, broke down everytime we used it, but was non-stop fun. Second boat was a 1989 Eliminator Comp Ski 21' direct drive. This boat had a nice hull leak which provided auto ballast. Current boat is a 2006 SAN. All this in 20 months.

My first boat was an Aquatron 180 SE 18 foot I/O and we didn't make the mistake of buying a wakeboard, we already had one. We made the mistake of going out in a 2001 hull Ski Nautique with some weight in it and saw the profound difference in wake size/shape. Then I bought a 1986 Malibu Sunsetter to learn about inboards and I recently sold that. My buddy just picked up a 95 Sport Nautique, so I am mooching off of him and letting him learn about the joys of boat ownership until I am done with med school. Who knows what I'll buy then, but my wife says she wants to go with something nice, shiny and new!

Richard...Ha, ha, ha. That's great. It's always funny when you run across one of your old boats. I loved that thing. I wonder what happened to the stereo that was in it. I'd guess stolen, but who knows??? I'm pretty sure they paid $24,500 for it. Looks like they're trying to make a little profit after owning it for 2 years.

Phil, it was a novelty boat that I built originally for my nephew.. I ended up having to sell it though. That boat has more custom billet in it, and custom parts in it then just about anything out on the water nowdayz.. About 15 - 20K in design, and billet throughout the boat.
