Being 190lbs you might want to get the 141. Smaller board, slightly quicker edge to edge, less swing weight. But being too small makes it easier to sink edges, bogg on landings, not enough pop.
When I was 210lbs I rode a 133 and 134 fine. But then switched to a 142 and was much more comfortable for my size. Its all personal preferance. But if I were you I'd look at the 141.

Thanks for the info, how much more pop does the bigger 141 have. I have only been riding for a year and i am finally ready to start learning my 3's and inverts. My 141 seems so big and bulky so i was wanting something smaller to handle a litle easier. When you were riding the 133 and 134 did you notice a problem, with the three things you listed. Thanks for the help, i need it.

Well I noticed the bogging (board slowing because of sinking) alot during landings. And I was going bigger on the 142.
The best thing to do would be demo both the 141 and 136.
I'm 180-185lbs 6'1" and I stick around the 138-140 area.
But with most things with wakeboarding, its personal preferance, if you really like the 136 go for it. But I would suggest a demo of either.
You're riding a 140 Era right? Well before you buy a new premier try either a 136 prem or 135 Era/Old Prem. (the Era shape was known as the premier before)

im 5'8" and have a 143. i rode a 137 for years but a 143 gives me so much more pop and softer landings. i would never get anything under 140 again. i have a friend who is over six foot and has a 137. he cant figure out why his nose sinks in. bigger is better.

I'm 6'1", 200lb and rode an old Motive 135 all of last year. The year before I rode a 139 and this year I ride the Era 140. I can tell a big difference when spinning...but I don't have the problems others mentioned. I went for the 140 because I wanted the slighlty increased rocker. I need all the help I can get. For what it's worth, I kind of liked the smaller board.
Good rule of thumb: Demo if possible.

I'm 5'9" and 140. I ride the substance 141. Love it; although, I'm going to ride the 138 this year.
