Danny,
If you have a trampoline or access to one it would help tremendously. You need to try and push your chest toward the sky when you start your rotation, this should help you flip in a more layout type position. This will slow your rotation slightly so you need to make sure that you wait for the pop off of the wake. This should be the most relaxed invert that you can do so really concentrate on slowing it down and laying it out. Let me know if this helps, good luck!

In a tantrum the wake should toss you backward. Sounds like you are trying to hard to the throw a back flip off the wake. Take a strong cut and cave towards the boat about 5 feet before the wake. Remember to stand straight up at the wake, and it will thow you into a perfect tantrum.

Everything starts with the cut. Make sure you take a progressive cut but also aggressive cut into the wake. About three to five feet before the wake let off your edge(do not dig in on your toeside edge), look back towards the direction you came from, after the wake pops you up throw your head back and spot the landing. Hope this helps, good luck!

I asked this exact question on the liquidforce forums... Kyle Schmidt said that when you hit the wake square, you need to put your knee's up into your chest to get yourself around, then I assume, this makes a grab that much easier... I haven't had the chance to try this way but I will once I get back on the water.
