Will Vests stretch some??

well i bought a new 05 LF Hinge Vest online because it was a smoking deal,i usually buy local but couldnt pass this up..

so anyway i used to wear medium vest but two years ago i bought a Large and it turned out to fit but barely and got looser after use..

so i wanted a new vest and bought this one in medium which by my chest size should have fit ..

well it fits with the buckles all the way out and fits snug like just right kinda snug..

will it stretch or should i send it back before i use it??

my feeling is it will at least enough so it will fit nice and close but not break my ribs and let me breath when riding :-)

Vest will stretch but like you said it will be uncomfortable.

so after a few rides its should fit better ??

i know old vests would but this glide skin and new vest im not sure??

I dont think it will remain bigger after several ride, but who knows.
I am basing that on the fact my 05 hinge has not streched after my dad (beer belly) has riden with it a couple of times. It will just stretch for the time he said it hurt his belly.

Just getting it wet will change how it fits. Take it into the shower.

update

turns out peters correct ,

i didnt try it in the shower i just went and took it for a ride ..it lossened up just enough as soon as i got wet and rode..

the buckels are already all the way out but it fits perfect and doesnt ride up on wrecks..

btw its a real nice and comfy vest...
