This photo says it all. During Navy Seal Jon Tumilson's funeral yesterday, his trusted canine friend Hawkeye guarded him one last time.

I saw this photo. It broke my heart. Prayers to the man, his dog, friends and fellow soldiers that perished in the service of our country.

I think I've bonded with my dog in a way that I never could with a person. Hard to explain, but dogs are so innocent and loyal. Sometimes I wish people were more like dogs.

Its the way Dogs just forget anything you may have done bad to them in the past... I'll leave through the garage for work, by the time I'm in the drive way I see her looking out the window, its sad to think I'm leaving her alone all day, I get home and she is sooooooo effin' happy to see me again its crazy.
.... I leave my fiance' at home all day and I get yelled at when I come home.

Or I'll yell at her for chewing this or that/ pooping in the house, and you can tell she is scared/guilty but 5 mins later ready to jump on my lap and play.

Dogs are so awesome.

Man that is a tough pic to look at with a dry eye. My heart goes out to the family and all families that have lost servicemen/women. Puts everything into perspective with one picture.

You are pretty nice or weird if you let your fiance chew up stuff and poop all over your house
