hahaha. im serious though. this girl at my school. first day out in their 08 wakesetter. tore the prop off and scratched the sh$# out of the hull. ive heard a ton of stories like that.

my dads been there once. and said he doesnt like it because in some spots you can even turn around. ive never been their though. so seriously. whats it like?

Well if you pay attention to where you're driving and look for things in the water you'll be fine. Water debris is worse in the winter then it is in the summer. I've never been anywhere you can't turn around, well unless you're POWER TURNING! which I won't even start on my rant with those people. It's basically an endless amount of intersecting rivers where you can always find smooth water. I've been riding out there for more then 15 years and think we've only tore up 2 or 3 props.

o alright thats not to bad. like i said. ive never been there. my dad went there prolly around 10 years ago. so i dont know what its like now. and we have never torn up a prop just for the record. we have dinged it. but never needed to replace one due to damage

We were in the black SAN 210. We saw Andrea, Scott, Billy, & J-Rod. That must have been you Mig in canyon mist Nautique. Did not remember a VLX out there other than a yellow/black that I saw at UP.

The conditions look sublime. Some day, if I ever make it to California, I will try to ride there. I am new to the sport of wakeboarding, and this thread is the first time I've heard of the Delta. Is it a popular place?

The US Coast Guard hailed us on the loadspeaker...I thought we were in trouble but they were just saying: You guys are DIEHARDS, we love it!

we footed next to their boat for a while much to their enjoyment.

hey chuck, yes thats my canyon mist 210.
thats the paytons 210 you were on right?

only boats out there were my 210, the other black 210, Scott & Andrea's Sanger and the blue MC 205. I didnt see anyone else out there the entire day.

Even with the 4 of us out there - we only crossed each other once or twice.
What a day!

No it does not hurt your feet.

It's the worlds best foot massage.

and a major adrenaline rush...everytime!

We are all over the dirty delta's 1000 miles of waterways, north, south, east and west...and the lakes too...Berryessa etc.

DON QUIXOTE,

Welcome to the world of wakeboarding. My family would like to extend to you an open invitation to join us for a day out on the Delta if you ever make it out to California. We have a nicely outfited Supra that has a wake for beginners like you. Keep progressing and who knows, maybe we will see you riding at a Pro Tour stop someday. Remember, the pros were beginners once too!

Mr. Dinatale,

My what a kind invitation! My heart is overwhelmed by your hospitality. You have the kindness of a saint, the manners of the most exquisite gentlemen, and wisdom of the most sagacious sage. You must drink from the divine, for your words are verily the heavenly honey of wine.

yeah but we have sun and warmth down here.
plus FYI: San Francisco Bay and the Delta are the largest estuary on the west coast of the Americas. That includes WA.
