Wow!! Amazing riding. J, do you know if this will be based on the Natural or will it be a different shape? Any ideas on fin pattern?

I have always liked Watkins' riding, but I enjoyed that section more than I usually do. I tried to pause a few times to see the board, but I couldn't tell much. Looks like a new tip/tail and I didn't see as many molded fins unless I missed them.

a fly on the wall told me that they actually are redoing that board from the ground up. the original "insert board name" (sorry guys, my lips are sealed) was too much like the natty i believe...they wanted to make it really out perform the natural. i wonder if the one he's riding is the finished product or if it is still in design?

Dope video, likin the design on the top of the board, not so much the bottom, definitly saw two flutes per side on the top though so that'll most likely give some big pop. Really Hard to see if there is any molded fins though with that color

This is the best snap shot i could get of the board's bottom... i think... i'll watch and pause again here and there and see if i can get better

looks like there is some Delta pattern there?
and it looks like there is two molded fins on each end? instead of the 4 like on the player and natty

what does it say on the bottom though? looks like some "D"s and some "C"s and some "E"s and a "V" maybe ?.... OHHHHhhh WAIT. It is not a "V" it is an "A"
"DECADE"

and then the smaller word beneath... "watkins" maybe?

4 molded fins and it says decade. also looks to have the chevrons. dont ask me how i know, i got really lucky and paused it at just the right time and it wasnt as blurry. i paused it on the pete rose in the first quarter of the film

just saw that board in the flesh yesty out here, 2 moulded fins, chevrons between the fins, very tidy lookin deck, the proto's of his boots look schmick too

The actual finished board won't have those molded fins, that was one of the design changes.

DW always bases his stuff off of his previous rides and then tries to build on it and make it even better!

He has been doing this for ten years and every new board of his gets better and better, I'm looking forward to checking it out when he gets it all dialed in!
