Anybody ever ride some wake and snow in the same day. I have always wanted to, but here in PA it may be difficult. I am going to attempt it this spring hopefully.

Done it a few times now, I guess just one of the many benefits of living in Tahoe. Pretty fun, although it's always very early or late season snowboarding. Almost did it last Saturday, but 10+ feet had been let out of our local lake and the shore was too muddy to launch the boat.

I've done it. Stayed in tahoe and snowboarded early morning. Left and rode berryessa in the evening.
Surfed and wakeboarded on the same day also. Never done all three in one day though.

I knew I had this photo somewhere. Our local spot in April. Northstar at Tahoe in the background and still open.

Every year I get a bunch of buddies together and we ski/snowboard in the morning, wakeboard in the afternoon, and BBQ in the evening. We usually only ski for about 2 hours, but the mountain is super close, most of us have passes, and we're tired of skiing by April anyway. I've done this for about 7 years now, it's a fun day.

High Jack...Alright, so we can see its possible to wakeboard on snow, but can you snowboard on the water with a pull. I know you can skim, but anyone every try doing a dock start with a snowboard???????

I think we're coming to Tahoe Mar 15-21ish. Will the lake be warm enough to wake it as well?

Haha...

I lived in Florida for most of my life and I just started snowboarding. I tried to do the same motion as a tantrum on a kicker. If you look real hard, you can see the handle in my left hand in the 3rd picture.

Here is the setup at 7springs. Pretty Cool.

My buddies and I have been talking for years about doing what we call the "trifecta." It would have to be late March right after the clocks change.

This is the plan -- board Big Bear in the morning, surf Huntington in the afternoon, and then hit off a sunset session at marine stadium.

Every year we say we are going to do the trifecta but never do. This year, maybe.....

Nope, not realistically anyway.

I've ridden Tahoe in both early and mid-March a few years back. You need to hit it in a warm spell and have someone with an unwinterized boat ready to go. Logistically tough. April is much more likely. As for the two-fer, I've done it probably a dozen or so times over the years. It's fun and have had some good spring park days after/before wakeboarding. I've always wanted to add surfing to the mix, but that would have to be well planned with maybe a morning or night surf session, a mid-day wake session on someone else's boat in Sac/Delta, and a morning or night snowboard session.

A few years back, it dumped 3 feet of snow on Easter Sunday and we were wakeboarding a few days later with powder on the shore. That's probably the closest I've gotten powder and wake back-to-back. There are some cool shots of that day lurking out there too.

Here are some snow pics from last year. If I didn't take my boat out that day, I would've done the double...but we rode the next day and had some good spring conditions...

I've done it on the same weekend no problem. Not sure why you'd want to do it on the same day other than to just say you've done it. When I hit the water or the snow it tends to be an all day thing.

We used to have an annual event in So Cal when Launch Magazine was around. It was Keith Kipp, Chris Sayer, Sean Seagren and a bunch of the other Socal heavy hitters. They had many Quad sport days. I think if my memory serves, there were even a few articles on it.
