I am curious who all is trailering with lead these days. With everyone getting greedy in the wake size area I am sure there are many out there doing this. So lets hear some stats! Any horror stories yet? I am also debating about adding more which is why I am curious, lol.

Me: Currently running about 500lbs in lead. All centered over the axles, trailer approx 20 minute drive each way, Maybe 10-15 miles.

I would also be curious on those who do trailer, whether they center over the axles for trailer safety, or disperse through the boat for fiberglass safety.

Ohh yah, open to all thoughts on this.

I have 560lbs of pop bags spread around the boat....I trailer about 25 to 30 miles each way. I used to go to the trouble of putting them over my axles, but I eventually got comfortable keeping it spread around...

Tandem axle trailer.....

I'm bad, I tow with about 1,200 lbs. of lead throughout, drive 15 miles each way. It's all good though, I tow with either a chevy 2500HD or a Denali, can't even tell!

I am working on a custom sac configuration, so hopefully I can leave some of the lead at home.

why would you travel with a full center ballast bag? is it really that hard to fill and drain?
