North Carolina Riders

I am looking into moving to the Wilmington area. Topsail beach, Surf City area. Where are the best places to ride around there. Anywhere on a river or a lake I can store my boat that is real close to these areas???

the cape fear river is pretty much the best place to ride in the wilmington area, the ramp is off of exit 414 on I 40

Is that salt/brakish water or fresh? Is there somewhere to store my boat at the water? How far is that from N topsail beach area? Thanks for the info.

Top serious, Wilmington is one of the top ten coolest places in the world. You might as well start packing brother.

Wilmington is awesome and I may be a bit bias, but I would also recommend checking out the East Coast Wake Park in Greenville, NC!!

Is there a place on the river} with dry storage for boats? Is the river crowded? Do you guys ride year round? I appreciate all the responses, keep em coming.

there isn't anywhere to store on the water. Its fresh and its never crowded. We typically stop in November and pick it back up in april

Wilmington traffic sucks though. NE Cape Fear River is the bomb though.

Topsail and Surf City are pretty desolate compared to Ming-Town.

How is Wrightsville beach? My wife wants to live on or real close to the beach.

Wilmington is a great place to ride. You should also check out the East Coast Wake Park as well, that place is great!!! A write-up and pics are on Alliancewake.com.
