I have a bluish stain on cushions but not from a tarp. The second time it appeared I realized it was from the bottom of a new dark-bottomed hyperlite a guest rider leaned up against the seat. There was some kind of residue or pigment on the bottom of his new board even after it was used a few times that transferred to the vinyl. I worked it with soap and magic eraser which got most but not all of it. It has mostly faded out since then. Watch out for new boards on your cushions!

What brand board was it? This happened to me early this season when I purchased a new '05 Hyperlite.

This has happened to me a few times with certain CWB and Hyperlite boards. It always goes away on it's own with time.

On the other hand, I left my Body Glove vest on the rear cushion for 48 hours once, and it left a permanent stain that will never, ever go away.
