Yesturday I was docking my SANTE in our stationary lift and went a little off to one side, anyway the boat abrubtly stopped after hitting part of submerged lift. I assume the front tracking fin hit the lift, as there was a small chip taken out of it that could be seen when the boat was raised out of the water. The chip is fairly small, no more than a quarter inch wide and a quarter inch deep into the fin. It causes no vibration that I can notice. Is this a problem worth replacing the fin or can I let it slide?

Don't worry about it, especially if there are no structural cracks radiating from the chip. If it really bugs you, you could smooth the rough edges with a file.
