Anybody have any tips for weighting an 07 MasterCraft X-14?

I'd be a little skeptical about weighting a boat like the x-14 too much. I haven't been behind or in one, but looking at just the size of that boat, putting any considerable amount of weight you'd probably need to surf behind it would be pretty scary. I have an x-2 and we fill the ballast and put an extra sac in the back, and if we want it huge put another one in the side, but that's very rare that we need to do that....

I don't know what an X-14 is, sounds small. I'd recommend a large board like an IS Red or SS Ja Mako.

X-14 is a new boat from MC this year. Replacing the X-9 which is very surfable. The X-14 should be fine for surfing, put the majority of the weight in the back corner and side you are surfing on.
