I haven't ridden either board, but the 08 4-skim black pearl is on sale at bbb for $325 plus $30 shipping:

Bryan, I could be wrong, but I believe it's that the LTD Woody had a spot for a nose fin, and then just the paint. No doubt the wood in the woody is subject to more selection criteria at the factory, but it's the same construction methodology, I'm sure.

the only wakesurf specific board i have ever paid for was the old school inland surfer red chubby.
its still in my shop and might be the most asked for beginner board i have for my lessons schools
definetly a must have board for the quiver
this new shape looks like it might bridge the gap tween surf and skim.nice

I won a 4-skim this summer and rode it a lot. It's a very fun board very fast and spins easy. Nose sinks easy and it's a little squirrly (this the changes to this years model). IMO I recommend a alightly bigger fin which BoardersMall carries.
