So yesterday I was changing the oil in my tranny and to my surprise it had a lot of water in it so I pumped it all out out now I'm trying to figure out how I can flush it out to get the left over water out of it

When I had water in my transmission I pumped out as much as possible then refilled with fresh, ran for a few hrs, drained and refilled and was fine after that.

Do you know where the water came from? On mine it was from a hole in the hull which flooded the bilge. If you haven't had a load of water in the bilge then check your transmission cooler, it could have a split.

a few weeks ago it stormed ass and a bunch of water ran down my cover and some how made it into the back of my boat and I didn't have the plug removed so the trans was almost submerged but I bilged it all out within 30 minutes of it happening but I'm sure that's probably long enough to fill up with water

Drain fluid and water. Replace fluid. Run for awhile and steam the water out for about an hour. The water will literally steam itself out of the tranny. Make sure you flush lines and cooler if you have one and check the screens.

I used a suction pump on my old DD. It only holds about 1 to 1 1/2 qrts of fluid.

I pumped it all out and refilled it with some Mercon but I'm planning on pumping it out and refilling one more time just to be sure
