I ride at about 65-70 ft behind a ski brendella going about 21 mph with 2 500lb fat sacks in the sides. The wake looks pretty good but the distance from one wake to the other is huge. What would be the best way to narrow that up? Do I need to shorten the rope and go slower or what? I dont want to get too close to the boat. I noticed other boats, like tiges and ski nautiqes have super narrow distance between the wakes, even far back.

hey wayne. ride at about 60 off and i try it at about 22 or 23 so you can get a better cut and more speed going back into the wake and get a lot further across the wake. thats the best. hope it helped.

you might want to shorten the rope a section or maybe 2. don't slow down, that will make the wake get wider and you won't be able to get very much pop off it because it will get mushy. you might even want to speed it up just a little. hope this helps

Don't change your speed it will make the wake smaller. Shorten your rope.
