I'm thinking about getting a roam. My problem is that i would like to have a pair of bindings for the board with out switcing them on and off my wakeboard. I was wonder what you guys would recomend for a fairly cheap but comfortable pair of bindings. I'm looking to spend somewhere between 100-150 dollars.

buy a brand new pair of bindings that are a year or two old. i ride the stiffest bindings possible but the roam is the only board i ride so i need the support wake to wake. when i hit rails or just mess around ill leave my bindings untied and completely loose

i find that boards like the Roam or Covenant are more fun on a pair of not-so-stiff bindings, but its preference for sure

JUST TO LET YOU KNOW! GET THE ROAM BINDING SCREWS! THEY MAY COME ATTACHED TO THE ROAM, IF NOT, ASK FOR THEM! They have a different depth than your standard Claw bolts. Just thought i'd let you know. You probably already knew that, but i figured i'd be the public service annnouncement guy haha

that'd work for the regular claw thumb screws, but aren't the screw-head claws shorter? i dont think it'd work for them...i could be wrong though

The roam binding itself is low cut and allows for a lot of movement. I had a cheap pair Hyperlite Spins that I threw on my roam board, works fine.

ANOTHER SCREW LENGTH SOLUTION

use a sander/ grinder to grind the bolts down a bit... i did it once with different company of binding (liquid force on a hype board)

i like stiff bindings on my roam, gives more of a snowboard feel, good for cranking turns and more support on flat landings.

I've ridden with softer bindings and it gives more a of a skatey feel

i'm looking at getting the liquid force fusion boots. Does anyone use these? How comfy are they, i normally ride the ultra. I like boots with higher support, but the comfort level is my biggest concern.

go to your local shop and try them on. i would never get a board or bindings without tryin them on at least once or riding the board once

Anything hyperlite would work well.

Spencer,
Try the Liquid Force Suction or Ultra Sux for the Roam. Find a used pair on ebay or here and you should be good to go. Both these bindings are no gimmick.
