The new salesman Sanger hired should do great for them. His name is Noah.

We're like a cult Biily and trying hard to convert you. That's why Noah was hired. Couples come in to look and are never seen again at another dealership. Which we think is good for them...

I think Sanger makes great boats, and the folks on the delta who own them swear by them. I was planning on buying one last time around, but just happened to get a great deal on a Nauty.

that being said, if Sanger believes so much in the wood they put in their products, are they really going to offer fiberglass b/c of weak salespeople? Scott, for Chrissake, spend the money you're putting into a dual product line and train your sales people!!!

If you truly believe in the difference that wood makes for structural rigidity, your salespeople should be able to tell the story correctly. What would it take, at the very most, 1 day of sales training per salesperson to drill it into their heads?

I am pretty sure that Sanger won't be changing the way they build boats just replacing the wood compents with Composite.

So the molds will all be the same just the stringers floors etc will be made of the composite material. That will make it pretty easy to build the boat either way depending on the order. This is just a wag

The problem with selling wood is everyone knows a guy with the boat with rooten floors and stringers. It was not a Sanger but it makes some people have enough doubt that they buy something else.

Tommy, if you pounded your head up against a wall for years spending more time and money using wood stringers and building a better product only to have people believe it's inferior you'd get frustrated too. To me it sounds like they just want to offer the public (that cant get past the rhetoric other boat companies have pitched in order to save a buck) something else. I believe in Sanger and if they are going to use composite in their construction I believe they'll be able to do it with the same structural integrity as their current boats.
