Grabbing inverts

Any pointers on doing grabs while inverted? When I try t/s and h/s backrolls they say my hand is about 1 foot away from the board. I also spin much faster than normal when I try to grab, which results in over-rotating. Any had this problem and cured it? Please help out!

As for Tantrums, I under rotate when I try to grab. Go figure!

go for the grab and then do the flip, a ts backroll is much easier to grab. i have a mental block where i cant grab a hs backroll but for ts just think about grabbing and then flipping your head back
