We saw on KCRA Channel 23 that the Delta will be closed for all boating until Friday at noon. This is due to the facts that the water levels are very high and the boat wakes put too much pressure on the levees. Just thought I would let everyone know. See y'all at noon at the launch ramps.

p.s. Saw ski beach on Sunday, and I'm sorry to say it is still sand.

I also called and our family is now in a total state of depression. We were getting ready to head out. So much for the convenience of living in Disco Bay. We are going to plan to head to a lake on Monday, any good suggestions?

Linda,

Coming form Disco you can head straight down 4 @ head to Tulloch... New Melones & New Hogans are pretty close too. I'd go for Tulloch, CIE Spring Ride just finished up thier last weekend, nice facilities, resturaunt and bar on the water...

Jason,

I just heard that if you get caught riding right now it's a $1000 fine.... just wanted to give you a heads up!

You could always say though that you never heard anything about the closure and maybe they'll give you a warning :-)
