best roam shape

i have the original hypeperlite roam and i love it. but ive been watching the shape change over years and have been thinking about getting a new one. so what is the best year and shape. i your opinion and why.

Original is my fav....the newest looks closer to the original than the mid years did

The new one is sick! A lot more pop then any of the versions!

I haven't ridden the new one yet but its sitting in my garage waiting for the virgin ride. Personally I liked the snowboard shape better than the original. I felt that nose and tail press's and butters were easier and had more pop on the wake but edging was a bit more difficult. I rode the roam as my only board for 3 years so keep that in mind. Ill try to get out and give more feedback on the new shape ASAP

the new one seems a tad wider than the older and the tip and tail shape are different. i bet the newer would have better pop because it is wider. the years in between were a little more than 15 inches wide in the middle!! yikes, i guess it went on a diet for a couple of years hahahah
