Went to heber springs Arkansas and only got about 3 hours of boat time. And the whole time we were on the water was towing folks and didn't even get a pull cause the rain. Sucked!
Hope everyone else managed to have a good time. I was singing the rainy day blues

here in southern IL, we've gotten 3.5 in of water in the last few hours. all of the fields are like small lakes and we were taking full advantage with the winch

same here in Colorado. I did get lucky in Sunday and caught the only four hours of sun the whole weekend on the lake and I was the only boat out there.

I swear, Memorial Weekend is cursed (here at Powell too)! I cant remember one Memorial Weekend where there was not some nasty wind one of the days or some other bad weather.

Friday, Sat., and Sunday had rain off and on. Friday was the worst, but luckily for the lake goers, most of the storm was centralized in the city of Page. Dumped like 3 inches of rain in just an hour or less. Flooded half the streets in Page and closed down the 2 highways that run by/through Page for a good two hours due to the under-cutting and/or mud building up over the roads. Worst i have ever seen, in all my life in Page... my parents agree too, and they have been here a good deal longer.

Today has been the best day, wind came up at 1 pm... save the best for last eh?

Its been rainy and crappy all weekend as well here in North Dakota. Now that the weekends over and everyone heads back to work its suppose to get nice out, temp rising and sunny sky's in the forecast

I think the west coast was the only decent place this weekend. It was officially 81 and clear in SoCal today....water in the backwater was perfect. Sorry everyone, but it was really nice here and I had a great ride!

DFW area was beautiful weather high 80's to low 90's all weekend, with a few late afternoon storms.

West coast weather has been awsome. Sunny in Portland for a week with no rain in sight.

I'm sure the midsouth/southeast crew would agree that the sunny all week and rain on the weekends deal is getting pretty stale, especially for those who don't live close enough to the lake to go during the week
