First Wakesurf Board

I just purchased a 2010 Malibu vRide. I'm looking to purchase my first wakesurf board. I have wakesurfed once in my life, but got up on the first try and was able to ditch the rope, and loved it. I am 6'2" and 210 lbs.

I want something I can progress my skills on and not outgrow instantly. Something I can ride, surf, learn to do spins, air, tricks, etc with. I don't know if I should get a skim or surf style. Is there a best of both worlds I could achieve by adding/removing fins? Any suggestions?

I don't want to go out and spend $600++ on the wrong thing. I can't remember what I originally surfed on. Also want something that will be a good boat board to keep around, then I'll probably specialize into some nicer boards once I have a better feel for things.
