Seeking advice for buying a wakesurf

This summer we discovered wakesurf with friends and we want to buy our first board. As new in the field, I really do not have much knowledge in brands and models. I would like to know your comments and advice as to appeal to this purchase. We would commancer with a board that would do for me and my wife, who is fun to ride, forgiving and will last long. So, I'm 6 feet 200 lbs and my wife about 5 feet 8 inches 160 lbs. I saw that there are several types of wakesurf which length and what would be the best choice for us.

I recently rode a Inland Surfer Mucus, I think it would be a great beginner board and allow for a bit of progression. I know CMS was closing them out a couple weeks ago for 450, call them up and see what they can do.

Liquid Force 5'3" best for your wife, OK for you. LF 5'6" best for you, OK for your wife.
2nd choice, LF 5'2" nose rider best if you have great size wake, LF 5'6" nose rider if you have average wake

When you progress, I would look at Walker Project Bomb Pop, and some of the LF advanced boards.

When looking for a board to learn on you should buy a board that is too big instead of a board that is too small. If the board is too big, you will be able to free ride on it but not do as many tricks. If the board is too small you will not be able to ride on it nearly as easily. Time riding is the most important to progress.
You and you wife can easily ride the same board. I am your size and enjoy my Inland Surfer Blue Lake but perhaps there are newer designs that are better yet.
