Has any one installed a none factory tower on a boat with the VEC process? I am installing a Monster tower on my 04 Glastron and the hull seems almost elastic.
I believe only the hull is VEC on Glastrons- They have not started doing the decks in the VEC process. That being said you should probably re-inforce regardless.
That is what I thought. I put 4 layers of fiberglass behind the mount and then I am going to use 1/4 inchg marine plywood for more backing. Is there anything else I should do?
