I know I have seen a few boats on here w/a drive and play. The one I rem had the screen by the window and the knob by the throttle. My question is were did you mount the brain for the drive and play? I wanted to mount mine close to the radio so I can use the wired FM transmitter but I dont think the cables for the display and control knob will reach that far,,but if I mount the brain under the dash the wired transmitter will not reach the radio? Any help would be awesome. Thanks all

I mounted the brain of mine under the dashboard. The unit itself comes with a RCA to mini jack cable so you can connect to the RCA input on your head unit. I went to radio shack and purchased a 3.5mm mini jack extension cable and you can run it all the way to the headunit. With mine, I used a 16 foot extension.
So my setup went like this: The control unit is on my dash, the brain is under the dash, from the brain, I have a 16 foot mini plug extension cable, which is connected to the mini jack-RCA cable that came with it, which in turn connects to the headunit RCA in.
