I have an '07 Outback with the wakeboarding package...single bag under the back seat. What I'd like to do is add more weight, but (1) have it all automated like the rear sac and (2) have it all completely hidden. What is the best way to accomplish all of this? Lead in the front? Can you lift the floor panels and add lead, or is that too much strain on the hull and trailer? After having an I/O for 8 years and filling/emptying sacs, I'd rather roll with the wake as is than go through all of that again. Plus I don't want to give up my floor space. Just curious what you guys with Outbacks have done.

moomba.com discussion board will have all the info your looking for. You want to get ahold of skier's choice and ask for reed. Tell him you want to upgrade from 1 bag to the 3 bag gravity setup. For about 600 he will ship you everything you need to do the install besides the rear bags

You cannot upgrade to a 3 bag system in an Outback. Reed is good but he can't help you out there, haha. The best wakeboarding setup I've found with hidden ballast is getting a custom sack made to fit underneath the rear seat. The one we had was around 650 lbs when full. We then had about 300 lbs of lead underneath the bow cushions. With about 5 people in the boat the wake wasn't bad at all.
