new Malibu board racks

I am currently deciding on options for my 2007 VLX
has anyone purchased or seen the new style board racks for the illusion x tower?
if so
what do you think of them

I think they are the nicest board racks I have ever seen

We got some in a couple days ago. They are a bitch to install but twice as good as the metcrafts.

Are they backwards compatible to '06? And Zach, regarding the challenging installation, to what extent? Bloody knuckles, bulging veins in the forehead.

Is Metcraft the mfg of the '06 racks? The plating started to peel almost immediately. What's the word on that?

I have seen them. They are real sweet. The Carbon lay up is awesome. you can see more stuff fro the here.

that vpod arm is sweet!
I had e-mailed you earlier this year about possible ways to mount the v-pod
you were kind enough to respond, but I never followed-up....sorry
I mounted mine on my illusionx, using a mirror arm with a bracket ground down to fit the round cross bar on the tower

I would love a bracket that wraps around the leading edge of the tower

is that something that you could/would be interested in making?
