Any advice would be greatly appreciated... I was out on the lake for Memorial Day, we stopped to switch riders. When I turned the ingition to off position, the engine would not stop (almost sounded like it was choking out). I finally got the engine turned off.

Since that point, when I started the engine a couple of different times while riding it sounds like something is slowly grinding without much noise, then the engine starts. Keeping in mind, while pulling riders the boat runs like a dream, no hesitation on starts, not skipping any

None of these issues have happened before, is this battery trouble, starter trouble, alternator?

Never had any major issues so looking for some advice/knowledge...thanks in advance
