Hello everyone, I read about people using a GPS to calibrate their speedometers. Can you actually adjust your speedometer, or are you just verifying the speed? I am pretty certain that my speedometer is not accurate, and am interested in fixing it, if it's possible ('06 X1).

Thanks for your input.

Sure all wakeboat speedoos can be adjusted. You use the gps for the crrect speed the follow the directions that came with your boat to adjust your speedos and perfect pass if you have one

Yes the Speedo can be adjusted on the X1. I believe there are toggle switches on the right side of the dash next to the steering wheel. I will look when I get home if no one has verified my post by then. I go the Chewelah area every once in a while and have wanted to hit a couple of the lakes up there Deer Lake or Loon Lake, which do you like best?

Hey Jason, we have a cabin at Deer Lake, and ride about 90% of the time there. They are small lakes, so the smooth water is usually in the mornings and evenings. Hit me up some time, when you are in the area. Sweet looking X1 in your profile, by the way.

Cheers.

So the older ones should be adjustable too? Mine are 5 mph off eachother but i think one is closer to the real number than the other.
